In this brand new program, you will have the opportunity to watch your child grow their creative confidence as they dive into an enriching art framework exclusively designed by the ILOS team for students and teachers of ISP Artists. This framework will allow students to explore their creativity as they familiarize themselves with different techniques, mediums, and themes. Additionally, students will participate in two live-streamed sessions facilitated by experts in the field who will support the students in developing their creative confidence.

ISP Changemakers, formerly known as ISP Futures, provides schools with tools and methodologies for developing projects focused on social impact. This will enable communities to take action to address strategic issues relevant to their group and their future.
Learning outcomes
Knowledge: Gain a better understanding of the different issues and opportunities that influence the wellbeing of the community.
Skills: Be able to apply different frameworks and methodologies to create projects with social impact. Raise awareness and take action on environmental issues.
Understanding: Develop an understanding of individual actions, as well as the social impact of collective actions.
Confidence: Increase confidence in the impact that actions have on creating sustainable change in the school community.
Being a part of this program has helped me in things I didn't imagine it would. Because of ISP, I haven't just learned about the environment and how to be more eco-friendly, but I have also earned new friends. It even motivated me to come to school doing this every day. I didn't imagine I would love plants and taking care of the environment like this.

ISP Chess Masters
Programme highlights
ISP Chess Masters grows students’ skills and teamwork by connecting them with other ISP students to play fast chess in online and in-person tournaments in local, regional and global contexts.
Knowledge: Know how to decode an issue and the strategies that can be used for structured problem-solving
Skills: Be able to apply logical reasoning and mental flexibility to make effective decisions
Understanding: Develop an understanding of gameplay by recursively growing spatial reasoning and strategy-making abilities

I love chess and having the opportunity to get better at it through tournaments is simply amazing. You can share ideas about moves and your style of playing at the same time as playing, you can play with people you don't know and all of that with no material needed, just a computer.

ISP Filmmakers
ISP Filmmakers is a multi-disciplinary project in which students learn the importance of collaboration in achieving the common goal of producing a film, its trailer and poster. It provides insights into career pathways in film and media.

This programme really improves your understanding of filmmaking, planning, scenes shots and will really help you on your application later on for university. It also teaches you to work together on camera shots and editing that for sure will be needed in the future.

Classes are tailored to different levels, from beginner to advanced, and are open to both school students and external learners. Led by native English-speaking teachers, they benefit from a practical, accessible approach that helps students prepare for official Cambridge examinations.
The music school gives students the opportunity to begin or progress in different instruments and singing, within a dynamic environment tailored to each level.
Through their lessons, students develop musical skills, creativity and self-expression, whether pursuing music for personal enjoyment or with a more academic focus. They can also prepare for internationally recognised qualifications such as Rockschool.
In Homework Club, learners benefit from a dedicated time and space to build positive relationships, organise their study and complete school tasks. They can also strengthen their reading skills and develop independent learning habits, supported by a school teacher and encouraged through interaction with other students.Our morning classroom service is available from 7.30am to 9.00am, supporting families at the start of the day. Extracurricular activities run from 4.00pm to 5.00pm, offering enriching options after the school day.
Students are part of the House System, a feature of the British educational model that creates a stronger sense of community within the school. From the moment they join, each student belongs to a House and takes part in academic, sporting, cultural and charitable activities, helping them get to know one another and support each other in daily school life.The British School of Almería has four Houses, represented by the animals associated with the countries of the United Kingdom: the lion for England, the unicorn for Scotland, the red dragon for Wales and the deer for Northern Ireland. Each House is supported by dedicated teachers and student leaders, who guide, encourage and motivate the group.
